With so little innovation in the standalone dvr segment, our main profile DVR's are our pride and joy. I am willing to bet, that as of now you are using the baseline H.264 codex - so let's see how Wikipedia defines the two.

This profile is used for standard-definition digital TV broadcasts

The TESC Hi-channel series offers 32 & 24 Channel recording in various configurations - 4 or 8 port Sata support. First to
market with 32 Channel DVR and offering full 32 Channel and Full 24 Channel playback. The DVR's offer realtime recording and playback at CIF Resolution, with 2-4 Channels capable of Playback in realtime 4CIF. Full mobile and 3G Access


How  to Purchase:

TESC DVR's are available to trade through our regional distribution networks or direct from TESC
where no regional agreement is in force. If you are a regional integrator and would like to use TESC
dvr's in your installs , our partner program may suit you - you will also have the oppurtunity to resell
to trade at a hugely discounted price - subject to volumes.

As a TESC partner you may secure exclusive rights to use and install the TESC DVR in your projects.

Resellers can compete with major distributors but are required to maintain volume targets.
